According to the LA Times, Suge Knight’s fiancé— Toi-Lin Kelly, was recently sentenced to three years in jail on Friday for violating probation. The violation was reportedly tied to Knight’s murder trial.

Superior Court Judge Douglas Sortino noted that Kelly aided Knight in violating a court order that limited the amount of jailhouse phone communications he was allowed to have. Kelly reported helped Knight connect with the producers of a Death Row Records documentary backed by BET.

The judge also noted that Kelly was communicating with the Death Row Records founder through a private investigator, which violates the terms of the probation Sortino gave her in October 2017.

News of Kelly’s sentencing comes after Suge Knight’s former attorneys were arrested for allegedly bribing witnesses on the case.
