Casanova 2x refuses to buy into the speculation surrounding his supposed beef with rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine. After dropping a searing single called "Set Trippin," which was accompanied by a gritty music video, fans speculated that Casanova was taking shots at Tekashi. 'Nova visited the Hot 97's Ebro in the Morning show and candidly answered questions about the beef. During the interview he stated:

“6ix9ine, you got three Billboard records. I’m just begging to get one. What would make you even come on my page and give me any light? I don’t even do diss records. You wanna know why? Because I don’t wanna give nobody no light. If I feel like I’m lit, I’m not talking to you. Maybe if you’re litter than me, I might start some action with you but looking down. Again, it’s the process. You got to live and learn. I know that now."

The New York lyricist was suspected of inciting violence at the recent Yams Day celebration, but 'Nova also shot that down, claiming he wasn't at the event. The two rappers have been caught in an internet-exclusive exchange, and 'Nova claims that the two have never formally met.

Casanova is signed to Warehouse Music Group, a subsidiary of Roc Nation.
