Some thieves decided they wanted to risk it all and swipe an ATM from a Takoma Park 7-Eleven store. According to ABC World News Tonight, Washington D.C. police are looking for several people in connection with the robbery that took place early Friday morning.
The video is stunning. Almost like a scene straight out of "Barbershop." A Ford pickup truck backs into the store, ramming through the glass. The truck knocks into the ice cream freezer, which pushes some shelves back. Once the truck pulls back out, two of the robbers appear in the frame. They jump over the bricks, glass and other debris in order to get to the cash machine. The next thing you see is the ATM already loaded into the truck. One of the thieves struggle to close the passenger door, then they drive off.
When asked about the bold move, the store owner did say that no employees were injured.
Cops did manage to find the truck and part of the ATM machine in Northwest.
