Lebron James and Nas have invested in Mars Reel, a company created by Brandon and Bradley Deyo. The 26-year-old twins dropped out of the University of Maryland to create a sports streaming service in 2010. The company, Mars Reel, streams high-school and college athletes’ highlights across social media channels such as Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, YouTube, and Facebook. The twins state that their idea for the company came while playing basketball for Richard Montgomery High School, and couldn’t afford to attend a basketball camp. They began filming and showcasing their basketball talents to share on social media, in hopes of attracting basketball scouts. They currently contract over 600 people who write, shoot and edit content.

The pair is proud to announce that they have raised $2.7 million from several sources, two of these being Lebron and Nas. The brothers met Lebron at the Warner Brothers office in Burbank, CA, after being introduced to him by Maverick Carter, Lebron’s business partner. Carter then gave them a deal to partner with his own digital media company, Uninterrupted. In a statement, Carter had said: "What they’ve been able to do through their product is reach that millennial audience with content they care about, which is hard to do.”
