The Eagles' 38-7 defeat over the Minnesota Vikings to send Philadelphia to its first Super Bowl since the 2004 season sent fans into complete pandemonium on Sunday night, January 21.

Many who poured out of Lincoln Financial Field wound up cheering their way to the nearest subway station, where the celebration continued. Video of one particular occurrence within the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority system shows a passenger who so excited over the win that he wound up going viral for putting his health on the line.

In a cellphone recording, which appears to have been shot within the hour that followed Sunday night's NFC Championship game, commuters in a crowded SEPTA train revel in the glory until a man wearing a Brian Dawkins jersey catches their eye. The fan happened to be staring through the train car window while giving chase. But before he could make it to the end of the platform, he was stopped by a steel column. Upon colliding at the shoulder, the man was knocked off of his feet, sending the passengers watching him into cheers.

It was a testy night as it would relate to poles in Philly. Before kickoff, reports began to surface to confirm that city workers had spent the afternoon greasing traffic light and street lamp poles to prevent anyone from climbing them in the event the Eagles win.

As it would turn out, the Nick Foles led offense put a number on the reputable Vikings D, and indeed earned a spot in the big game on February 4. Late night news coverage would go on to show that fans were not at all deterred by the Crisco glazed poles, with many climbing to overlook the celebration in spite of measures taken to prevent them from doing so.
