Drake recently released his two-track ‘Scary Hours’ EP, and according to reports, one of the songs was supposed to feature new artist Trippie Redd.

However, according to the rapper’s DJ—808-H, Trippie Redd was left off because he only finished recording half of his verse. According to the DJ, the snippet of “God’s Plan,” which Redd was supposed to be featured on, was out for too long. He noted the record gained some buzz on New Year’s, and Drake wanted to quickly jump on the interest in the record. However, Trippie Redd couldn’t finish his verse in time, which caused Drake to push forward without him.
