With the NBA All-Star game fastly approaching, the league decided to try a new format by naming team captains to pick players like a regular pickup game. But despite the cosmetic change to the game this year, one thing remains constant about the all-star game and that's LeBron James. According to ESPN, "The King" will be starting in his 14th consecutive all-star game breaking the long-held record by Bob Cousy of the Boston Celtics.

LeBron will be one of the two ASG captains along with Steph Curry who will pick their respective squads from the pool of players selected for the game regardless of conference. The two captains will choose between the remaining 8 starters for the first round which includes, Kyrie Irving, Giannis Antetokounmpo, DeMar DeRozan and Joel Embiid from the East, and from the West, Kevin Durant, James Harden, Anthony Davis and DeMarcus Cousins. The second round of selections will be made after reserves are announced on Jan 23.

LeBron is locked in to make the first pick. Who do you think he should take?
