Drake has done such a standout job as "Global Ambassador" for the Toronto Raptors over the past five years that the team is expanding his role.

It was announced that Drake will be in charge of the Raptors' "Welcome Toronto" campaign, which they say is an "immersive brand experience focused on art, community, and ball." From now until the end of the season, the Raptors will have six home games where they will wear their OVO jerseys and play on the new court made of northern maple wood and painted in OVO black and gold.

Through Drake's partnership, the Raptors have pledged $1 million to refurbish basketball courts in the community over the next three years. They are also investing $2 million to strengthen the sport at the grassroots level throughout the country.
