After being released from prison in 2016, Gucci Mane has stayed on course with his commitment to living a positive and changed life. Guwop lost weight, cleaned up his image and married his ride or die, Keyshia Ka'oir, and he was released off of probation two years early. The rapper also turned his troubled past into a New York Times bestseller after writing his autobiography that was published in September of 2017.

Keeping up the momentum of his success, Gucci is turning his life story into a movie, according to the rapper himself. In one of his latest tweets he wrote, "#TheAutoBiographyOfGuccimane is coming to a theatre near you #DirectorGuccimane #1017Films."

Outside of the tweet teasing the movie, there are no details on who will star in or produce it. It will be interesting to see how the book will be adapted for the big screen as the book was met with some backlash from some of the individuals in it.

Debra Antney, Waka Flocka's mom and former manager of Gucci, has openly discussed how Gucci's account of his business with her was not accurate. Waka Flock has affirmed his mother's side the story and recently went on a Q&A with his fans about his longstanding issues with Gucci.

Despite all of that it seems like Gucci is living his best life and using it as a means to motivate his fans, all while trying to sign Lil Pump to Brick Squad.
