WWE superstar Roman Reigns has been named as an alleged client of Robert Rodriguez, a jailed steroid distributor who is being investigated by the DEA, according to Forbes.

Last year after an investigation, Rodriguez's Wellness Fitness Nutrition LLC (WFN) was raided by the DEA. The business did extremely well, making over $10 million in the distribution of illegal steroids and had a client list that included "at least 50 customers in the Eastern District of New York."

In an interview with filmmaker Jon Bravo, Rodriguez named a few of his clients including Reigns. "At the end, I'm just trying to clear my name and just make people well aware, there's [SIC]a lot more people out there that were involved and are associated with my company that many individuals did not know," Rodriguez said.

Rodriguez claims he disclosed Reigns as part of his plea deal.

"He [Reigns] is a very down to earth person, however, a situation involved in which… often times when you're brought to trials - which I was not, I decided to take a plea - however, they disclose discovery. Discovery is basically the proof that they have against you, " Rodriguez said.

"One thing, one part of the discovery is what's called tried and true statements, which is basically disclosing everybody whom the investigators or people that were investigating you have spoken to with regards to your company, with regards to you, with regards to any other co-defendants that are associated with the indictment. So, that's one of the reasons why I disclosed him."

Reigns has been suspended by the WWE before, forced to sit out 30 days as a result of a wellness violation, which was a positive test for Adderall according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. It's unclear how they will handle the new allegations.

Reigns is expected to defend his Intercontinental Championship against The Mizz next Monday at Raw's 25th Anniversary show.
