A California driver unexpectedly crashed into the second story of an office building in Santa Ana over the weekend. The vehicle reportedly went airborne after hitting a raised center median at high speed and got enough of a jump to reach the second level of the building, according to NBC.

The car even caught fire right before colliding with the building. The driver was found dangling from the car as fire crews got to the scene of the crash. They were able to put out the fire before anyone was killed.

Only two people were injured in the accident. Pictures from the wreck show the car hanging out of the side of the building. The car sat right above an awning that shades the entrance of the building which is used as a dental office.

Surveillance video also shows the car plowing into the side of the office. Witnesses were blown away by the accident. “It was crazy, it really was,” said Daniel Sanchez to NBC. The driver reportedly admitted to taking drugs on the night of the crash and was later taken to a local hospital. He also had someone in the passenger seat who sustained minor injuries.
