Kevin Gates has been released from prison this morning. The rapper served 9 months of his 30-month sentence. Less than an hour ago, Gates posted an image on Instagram that simply reads: "I'm Him"
Gates was serving time in an Illinois state facility on a weapons charge. Reportedly, the terms of his parole include mandatory supervision. Also, he will not be allowed to possess any firearms.
Last year, Gates was released from a Florida prison for kicking a woman at one of his concerts. According to HotNewHipHop, he is now focused on giving back to the community by working with organizations such as the Boys & Girls Club.
