Fans of the 90’s comedy sketch show In Living Color were treated to a welcomed surprise on Wednesday after Bruno Mars dropped the visuals for the remix to his “Finesse’ featuring Cardi B.

Aside from the funky combination of Mars and the charismatic Cardi B, the video has been celebrated by fans who grew up watching the Keenen Ivory, and Damon Wayans created comedy show.

However, the highest praise has come for members of the Wayans family who took to social media to shout out to the throwback video.

Marlon Wayans captioned a clip of the video, “As an alumni of #inlivingcolor I must say this was doooope as f*ck @brunomars @iamcardib” “What an amazing tribute to # In Living Color.! Made me emotional. Thanks for the love, Bruno. I'm a big fan!” wrote Kim Wayans on Twitter. “If this Nostalgic fun video didn’t give u chills, well u just wasn’t a fan of the brilliance of this era. S/O the super talented @brunomars & even bigger S/O to the mastermind that is my Unc @keenenivorywayans” wrote Damien Dante Wayans.

Alongside racking up nostalgia points from comedy legends, both Bruno Mars and Cardi B are nominated for multiple Grammy awards this year. The video adds to the streak Cardi b is on, as she recently became the first female rapper to have her first three Billboard Hot 100 entries in the top 10 at the same time.
