Kim Jong Un delivered yet another threat against the United States during a New Year's speech on Monday, announcing that North Korea will be “mass producing nuclear warheads and ballistic missiles for operational deployment” in the coming year, and he stands ready to use them.

“The entire United States is within range of our nuclear weapons, and a nuclear button is always on my desk. This is reality, not a threat,” said Jong Un, adding that "these weapons will be used only if our security is threatened."

On Tuesday, Donald Trump hopped on Twitter to respond to the dictator's latest threat, tweeting, "North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un just stated that the 'Nuclear Button is on his desk at all times.' Will someone from his depleted and food starved regime please inform him that I too have a Nuclear Button, but it is a much bigger & more powerful one than his, and my Button works!"

During the speech, Jong Un also revealed that he's considering sending a delegation to the Winter Olympic Games in Pyeongchang, South Korea, to encourage unity among the two nations.

“North Korea’s participation in the Winter Games will be a good opportunity to show unity of the people and we wish the Games will be a success. Officials from the two Koreas may urgently meet to discuss the possibility,” Kim said.
