Back in October it was reported that Young Berg was jailed while attending the BET awards in Miami. According to TMZ, the hitmaker was busted for weed in his hotel but was arrested on a 9-year-old warrant that surfaced when police did a background check on him.
Cops were called to the hotel that Berg was staying at after an unidentified woman claimed that the producer wrapped his arms around her without her consent. This led to an altercation in the hallway in which an affiliate of Berg allegedly got physical with the woman.
Once the police were on scene, they found two blunts on Berg, which under normal circumstances would not have warranted an arrest. However, the authorities ran Berg's record and discovered that skipped a court date 9 years ago for another weed issue. They arrested him for this infraction.
Berg was later released for the following incident. This is not his first run-in with the law. In November of 2014, the Love & Hip Hop star was arrested for "obstruction of breathing" in New York City. Berg allegedly hit his then-girlfriend in the face, then grabbed her by the neck before throwing her to the ground and dragging her by the hair.
