It seems that Paul Rosenberg is showing some love to the state of Michigan since taking the helm at Def Jam. Paul, who is a Michigan State alumni and longtime manager and business partner with Eminem, just signed Detroit's Payroll Giovanni and his producer Cardo. The signing comes on the heels of Payroll Giovanni losing his fellow Doughboyz Cashout member Doughboy Roc to a fatal shooting. Payroll took to Instagram to announce the news in a post that included him and Cardo in the Def Jam office and captioned the photo:
