On Monday night, the Los Angeles Lakers celebrated the career of one of the greatest to ever lace 'em up - Kobe Bean Bryant. The Black Mamba had a jersey retirement ceremony where the Lakers, in unprecedented fashion, retired both Kobe's #8 and #24 jerseys. But before the festivities could begin, Kobe would arrive at Staples in style only suitable for one of the game's all-time greats.
Kobe said in addition to this being a special night due to his jersey's being retired, that this would be his first time back at Staples since retiring two seasons ago.
