The argument that LeBron James has already put up a greater all-time stats than Michael Jordan has received a co-sign from MJ's own right-hand man on the 90's Bulls dynasty team. According to Scottie Pippen, King James may not have eclipsed Air-Jordan quite yet, but it won't be long before he does.

"The numbers don't lie. He's right there. He probably will never catch him in terms of MVP, but in terms of statistics, LeBron is right there," Pippen told Stephen A. Smith during Thursday's (December 14) episode of First Take. "And when you look across the board—not just scoring—check his assists, check his rebounds … he's probably ahead of Jordan," he said.

Statistically speaking, Michael Jordan averaged 30.1 points, 6.2 rebounds, 5.3 assists, 2.3 steals and 0.8 blocks per game. James surpasses him in the areas of rebounds and assists, but falls short of MJ's marks per points and steals. James' combined numbers with Cleveland and Miami give him 27.2 points, 7.3 rebounds, 7.1 assists, 1.6 steals and 0.8 blocks per game.

As Pippen points out, though, in the area of accomplishments, James may face some difficulty catching up to Jordan, who has one more league MVP nods and has three more NBA Finals trophies than James does.
