Update:

Chris Bosh's mother Freida Bosh, has been arrested on a charge of exploitation of a disabled person. Bosh and her former roommate, Johnathan Brown were exploiting a disabled man who also lived with them. The victim could not work due to PTSD, depression, and other mental illnesses.

Police say the victim was forced to participate in "drug distribution activities" by delivering drugs for Brown. Cops believe Bosh allowed this to happen so she could get free narcotics and marijuana from Brown. Bosh is currently in the Tarrant County jail.

A raid conducted at a DeSoto, TX address listed under unsigned NBA free agent Chris Bosh turned up enough evidence to prompt an investigation into a possible drug operation running out of the home, on Friday, December 8. Among those questioned in the sting was Bosh's mother, Freida Bosh, who has in the past gotten in trouble with the law in the Lone Star State.

According to reports, DeSoto police moved in on the residence at around 6:30 a.m. They had reportedly received a tip from a neighbor who became suspicious about the activity of strange vehicles frequenting the gated community for brief periods of time. A Sargent in the local police force would later confirm to the press that a probe into possible narcotics trafficking has ensued and that Chris Bosh has been cleared of any involvement, Mrs. Bosh is being investigated accordingly.

It is reported that Freida Bosh has been living in the DeSoto property. Back in 2013, a $2.3 million warehouse that she owned became the site of a scandal involving her other son, Joel, who was allegedly throwing illegal parties on the premises. As a result, the family got caught up in a lawsuit that the city of Dallas filed against the Bosh brother.
