Tyrese has been in the news for the last few weeks for his own troubles. While going through his own issues, Tyrese had words for “Fast and Furious” co-star Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Tyrese was upset that The Rock was working on his own spinoff of a character he played in the movie and ultimately threatened to leave the movie franchise if The Rock was involved in any future projects.
Since then, The Rock fired back with own statement. Via Entertainment Weekly, the actor said “At the end of the day, the only thing I want to do is make a great movie for the fans. I never ever get wrapped up in the sludge of the bullshit that can be connected at times to a franchise. So I never get dragged into it. I never respond to any of that.”
The Rock went on to say “I feel like my intention from day one when I first joined the cast, was to hopefully come in, have fun, and create a character that people will hopefully like and try to elevate the franchise.” Since making his statement toward The Rock, Tyrese has apologized.
