Fredo Santana's artist Extendo Quono was shot and killed by Chicago Police on Wednesday (November 29) afternoon. Fredo commented on the news via Instagram, writing, "My son throwing up the Bz 😂😩👌🏽 he kno wats going on long live blood money & quano #Frontstreet."
According to the Chicago Tribune, Quono, real name Aquoness Cathery, was armed with a semi-automatic pistol in the Washington Park neighborhood after officers responded to a call about shots fired around 2:15 pm. When officers encountered Cathery, 24, he reportedly was holding the handgun which police say he did not fire at them.
Police did not provide a reason for shooting Cathery, and the officers who shot at him have been placed on 30-day administrative leave.
