Though Meek Mill is currently behind bars, his Dreamchasers team has blessed fans with some new content from the Philly rapper. The visuals for his "Fall Thru" track dropped today from his critically-acclaimed Wins & Losses project which dropped this summer.
The video, like the song, is a dedication to that "ride or die" type of partnership. The video depicts Meek and a young woman's blossoming relationship from their struggle days in a Philly neighborhood to the moment he can afford to spoil her for holding him down. From ankle bracelets and a shabby apartment to a walk-in closet filled with designer goods.
In other news, the Pennsylvania Superior Court denied Meek's bail. The rapper will be granted a bail hearing by the same judge who presided over his original case and hit him with such harsh sentencing. Despite all the claims that she was unethical in her dealings with the rapper from requesting he sign with her friend's management team or remix a Boyz II Men song. While Meek's situation is unfortunate, it's just an example of what happens to many people of color who are trapped in the judicial system, with people like Al Sharpton, JAY-Z and Colin Kaepernick discussing the need for reform.
The video ends with a call for #Justice4Meek. Watch the music video above. Stay tuned for updates on Meek's case.
