Dr. Phil kicked off the week by hosting a YouTube rapper who has amassed over 10,000 subscribers and gone so far as to abandon his two children to dedicate all of his time towards ambition.

"My career was more important," said Massachusetts artist Tony DeYoung, when asked how he could live with himself in having gone three years without seeing his six and nine-year-old daughters. DeYoung said that while he loves his kids, he does not regret leaving them to his aunt, who he believes to be a fit and loving caretaker.

DeYoung claims to have been inspired to rap after listening to Eminem when he was 11-years-old. In his YouTube bio, he classifies himself as a Stan who has evolved to develop his own style. During Monday's episode, the known troll got into a heated disagreement about his craft with honored guest, DJ Silk.

After taking exception to Silk telling him that his lyrics are not relatable, DeYoung rhetorically asked, "So, all these millions of rappers that are putting the same stuff out there get no attention, but I do something different, and now you're getting on me because I did something different?"

"What do you call different? Being an a**hole?" Silk replied. In the time since DeYoung detached from his daughters to pursue music, he hasn't landed any deals, but says that he's been pitched to by Atlantic and Interscope. According to DeYoung, he has been contacted by an executive who he says told him he is guaranteed to pick up Em's old fan base once he gets something going in the industry.

At one point Dr. Phil reveals that he reached out to Interscope to find out what the deal was concerning any business related to DeYoung, but the label rep he spoke with denied having any knowledge of who the aspiring rapper is.
