It looks like we won’t be getting Migos' Culture 2 album before year's end. In a New York Times article of Quality Control Music, Culture 2 has been "due out in January." The release of this sequel us appropriate, because the original Culture album featuring the group’s chart-topping hit "Bad and Boujee"—dropped in January of this year.

"MotorSport," the first official Culture 2 single produced by Murda Beatz and Cubeatz, included quick critical analyzed features from Nicki Minaj and Cardi B. Last week, Migos teased the track's music video with some behind-the-scenes footage.

The supergroup, both individually and collectively, has been spotted in various studios with an outstanding team of talent over the past year. Quavo shared muted videos of studio sessions with Chance the Rapper, Lil Yachty, and Donald Glover back in October. Back in July, paparazzi caught footage of Migos and Kanye hitting a studio in Los Angeles together. The paps also grabbed footage of Yeezus dancing to whatever was being created at the time, which may or may not be on Culture 2, but we’re still excited to hear.

The Times article also gives first-hand information about Culture 2 and Lil Boat 2 from Coach K, Quality Control's chief operating officer, and Pierre Thomas, the label's chief executive. They also discussed their dedication to stay true to the brand.
