Logic’s success is a storied one, resulting in the rapper rising to popularity very quickly. During an interview with Montreality, the rapper didn’t shy away from the influence and effect of one rapper on his career in particular. That rapper is Drake. When asked to offer some words to Drake, Logic had much to say.
“I wanna say thank you man. Some rappers wanna act however, and use other people to get over. You’ve been really nice to me so far, and I just appreciate the love,” said Logic. “I wanna thank you for paving the way for me man, because now I’m paving the way for youngins under me, and it’s just really crazy.”
Logic went on to say “Your music has taught me so much, and when I thought I needed to just be this rapper rapping all the time, you said ‘Nah, you can rap, and you can spit those bars, and you can sing, and you can be yourself.’ Logic finished by thanking Drake for pushing him to be the best version of himself that he can be.
