Rapper Aminé recently made an appearance on NPR to perform his tracks for their “Tiny Desk Concert” series. The concert found Aminé performing tracks like “Wedding Crashers,” “Slide,” and more from his recent debut project ‘Good For You.’

During his set, he performed a mash-up version of the songs “Spice Girl” and hit-single “Caroline.” While performing “Caroline,” Aminé made an important announcement to all those in the room who are not black, saying “If you ain’t black, don’t say it” in reference to the usage of the n-word in his verse. This comes after the rapper recently performed at VEVO’s Halloween concert, where many of his fans who aren’t black said the word as they sang along with his music.

This news may be helpful for fans who are attending the final show on his “Tour For You” tour in Los Angeles on November 16.
