The official character posters have been released for Marvel's upcoming Black Panther movie, which stars Chadwick Boseman, Angela Bassett, Letitia Wright, Forest Whitaker, Lupita Nyong’o, and Michael B. Jordan. Fans were quick to comment on the stunning costumes made by two-time Oscar nominee Ruth E. Carter.
Chadwick Boseman as T’Challa, aka Black Panther, takes over as ruler of the African nation of Wakanda, with Michael B. Jordan as the villainous Kilmonger, who wants to overthrow T’Challa. Lupita Nyong’o plays Nakia, T’Challa’s former lover and an undercover operative of the Wakanda special force. Additionally, Angela Bassett is Ramonda, T’Challa’s mother, and Forest Whitaker plays Zuri, an elder statesman of Wakanda.
