Cam’ron has announced the release date for his much-anticipated mixtape. According to the Harlem rapper’s Instagram post, The Program will be released November 11th followed by The Program Tour starting November 17th. The post featured a preview for a new video and track sampling Bill Withers’ “Lean On Me.”

Cam’ron has already released “10,000 Miles” from the upcoming mixtape as well as “Dime After Dime.” Both songs feature samples; the first from Vanessa Carlton's "1,000 Miles" and the second from Cyndi Lauper's "Time After Time."

The Program intends to be a prelude to his upcoming studio album Killa Season 2. Killa Season 2 will be Cam’ron’s first studio album since Crime Pays in 2009 and his seventh solo album in total. The first Killa Season was released in 2006. Days after the release of The Program, Cam’ron is scheduled to reunite with The Diplomats once again for Spotify’s RapCaviar Live concert at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City on November 21st. They’ll be performing with another Harlem rap collective, A$AP Mob.

Before the mixtape, Cam was in the news again regarding his infamous interview with now fired Fox commentator Bill O’Reilly. Cam stated that his line, “I got dirt on you doggy” was in reference to Bill O’Reilly’s then-secret sexual assault allegations.
