Azealia Banks apologized to Lil Kim over a failed collaboration -- and Lil Kim warmly responded. Previously, Banks sent Kim a track to appear on but Kim did not respond. "It really sucks when someone you respect and admire is trying to act brand new when all u did was reach out and try to work," Banks said at the time of her anticipated collab.
"I hope one day we can link in person and straighten things out because I was sooo confused and heartbroken when the collab fell thru. If anything else just know I never ever meant to throw shade...", said Banks on social media. Kim responded by thanking her for what she said. Thus Kim mentioned that she was proud of her "constant attempt at growth."
Last month, Banks also apologized to Nicki Minaj saying "Hey, I'm not sure if you will see this but I want to apologize for whatever catty shit I've said to and or about you in the past," the "212" rapper expressed.
Recently, she praised both female rappers in an interview.
