Former athletic trainer Jamie Naughright accused retired NFL star Peyton Manning of inappropriate sexual behavior back in 1996 as she treated him for an injury. At the time Manning was a 19-year-old All-American at the University of Tennessee. He maintains that he was horsing around with a teammate.
For the first time since the incident, Naughright is speaking in her first on-camera interview about the event with "Inside Edition" anchor Deborah Norville. The exclusive will feature some footage of Manning's 2003 deposition responding to Naughright's defamation suit. In the tape, Peyton states, "I pulled down my pants to so-call 'moon' him. One second to one and a half second, I pulled my pants up and continued with Jamie's examination of the bottom of my foot."
In the interview, Naughright claims Manning's mooning claims are false and that she was "scared" as she described his actions as that of "a predator" with "intimidating, anger, violent eyes." Peyton's legal team has said that her story has changed many times over the years. She initially stated that Manning pulled his pants down and put his genitalia on her face.
The CBS Morning crew discussed why she came forward with her accusations, Naughright claiming she feared for her life and that she signed an NDA, which was breached when the Manning family published a book with details of the incident written within.
