Rumors swirled about a potential collaboration between Cardi B and Beyoncé after a photo surfaced of a track file with their names on it. Cardi's engineer was found as the culprit who released the photo which prompted Cardi to send out an apology to the Queen. Billboard caught with Cardi to ask about the situation to which point she asserted that she didn't have anything to do with the post.
The initial rumors of a potential collab surfaced after Cardi met Beyoncé at the Made in America festival in Philadelphia this past summer. But Cardi doesn't know where the rumors came from, "I don’t even know why people are making those speculations." But it's probably not far-fetched to think that a collaboration is possible. Cardi was recently on stage with her fiance Offset and Migos during a performance where the track "Motor Sport" was debuted featuring Nicki Minaj. The rumors that abounded regarding a potential Cardi and Nicki beef culminated in a collab so a Cardi- Beyoncé collab could still be in the works.
