Colin Kaepernick’s kneeling protest has pretty much taken the NFL by storm, as well as the nation, as many people are divided on the issue. Other players in the league followed suit and kneeled during the national anthem as a sign of protest against police brutality and unjustified killings against black people, which resulted in many losing endorsement money. Along with that, they caught the attention of Donald Trump, whose tweets widened the divided between players, fans, and the owners.

Since then, Eminem took to the 2017 BET Hip Hop Awards to dedicate a scathing freestyle to Donald Trump and even made it clear he was standing with Kaepernick on his choice. Now, G-Eazy has joined as well, as he posed with Kaepernick while holding a shirt that says “#ImWithKap.” The rapper sent a message to the football player, saying “Thank you for bringing awareness and attention to injustices that are happening all over our country and the world.” Along with that, G-Eazy made sure to let the world know he is not riding with Trump. He said “Thank you for sparking a movement that's creating a desperately needed dialogue about these issues. F-ck Donald Trump straight up."

Another noteworthy detail: Colin Kaepernick wore a shirt with a drawing of his girlfriend, Nessa.
