Yesterday was #NationalComingOutDay. People across the nation were sharing their coming out stories in support of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) community. Chance The Rapper's younger brother Taylor Bennett reflected on the time he first came out as bisexual, which was almost a year ago.

Bennett on Instagram:

"It's been almost one year since coming out & I would like to share my story. Often growing up I felt different but was afraid of losing friends, family & respect because of my preferences & who I like. Almost 1 year later I am glad to state that the past year of my life has been the most beautiful. To be open is to be truthful & to be truthful is to live in reality. So to all the brave souls stepping out today know you are not alone. #NationalComingOutDay#LoveisLove"

Bennett first revealed that he was bisexual back in January, a day before his 21st birthday. Bennett made the brave announcement with a series of tweets. "My birthday is tomorrow & moving into next year I'd like to be more open about myself to help others that struggle with the same issues", he began. "Growing up I've always felt indifferent about my sexuality & being attracted 2 one sex & today I would like to openly come out to my fans." he continued. "I do recognize myself as a bisexual male & do & have always openly supported the gay community & will keep doing so in 2017. #ThankYou"
