Complex recently announced that they'll be teaming former basketball player, Gilbert Arenas & everyone's crush, Mia Khalifa together to bring fans a new kind of sports show aka "The Out of Bounds" show. The show will feature Mia and Gilbert talking sports but in a raw, uncut manner. Complex has been promoting the show since last week and the trailer for it is finally here. The trailer includes a funny intro to both hosts by giving a quick recap of their careers and then asking if they're the worst people on Twitter. Check it out above.
Noah Callahan-Bever, the company’s chief content officer, had these words to say to the Washington Post about the show:
“How are we going to create a product that is competitive in a sports landscape that is fairly crowded, and create a product that is totally differentiated in its voice?” Callahan-Bever asked. “We’re going to have to get people that are totally differentiated in their voice, people that ESPN and Fox would never even entertain putting on their platform, but that are compelling, and that we can demonstrate are compelling. … Just like Gilbert, there is a rawness to [Khalifa] and to the way she talks about sports that I think is going to create a package that cannot be replicated by any of these more mainstream competitors.”
"Out of Bounds" will be a daily show set to premiere on October 16th.
