Lonzo Ball posted a photo on his Instagram account with several friends including his teammate Brandon Ingram. Also among them was his manager and trainer, Darren Moore who was wearing a shirt with the It Was Written cover art, but instead of Nas' face, it was Lonzo.

The parody is especially interesting considering Lonzo's previous comments about Nas. In the first episode of Big Baller Brand"s new show, Ball in the Family, the Lakers' rookie point guard shot down the idea of listening to "real hip-hop," instead referring to Atlanta rappers, Migos and Future as such.

'That"s not gonna happen,' Ball said. 'Y"all outdated, man. Don"t nobody listen to Nas no more. Real hip-hop is Migos, Future.'

It wasn't extremely surprising considering the baller is just 19-years-old, but his comments caused a firestorm as many felt he was disrespecting a legend. Among those that chimed in was Nas' manager who called Lonzo "oatmeal face" and said Nas had never even heard of him.

Lonzo previously raised hip-hop eyebrows when he named his top 5 rappers of all-time, which was Lil Wayne, Future, DMX, 50 Cent, and 2 Pac, in that order. He also got dragged for tweeting that 21 Savage's Issa was better than Jay-Z's 4:44.

The Big Baller himself is also a rapper and released a new track "Zo2" just a week ago, but a battle with Nas probably isn't in his future, nor is that something he would want.
