J Cole is on the European leg of the 4 Your Eyez Only Tour and let's just say he was thrown for a bit of a loop while at a convenience store on the Germany/Switzerland border. Cole picked up an ice cream bar that had a very unsettling name - "Nogger." Now, there has been controversy surrounding the name of this ice cream bar for quite some time, but it is said to be a slang term that refers to nougat. But Cole wasn't here for that. The NC MC was perplexed by the ice cream bar's eery similarity to the "N" word and being in Germany where there is a noted history of racism Cole felt some type of way.
The company came under fire back in 2005 when they launched the licorice version of their ice cream bar, "Nogger Black" which the company claimed was not racially insinuating anything. Nevertheless, Cole wasn't feeling the ice cream bar.
