TMZ stopped legendary boxing trainer Freddie Roach and asked him about his feelings regarding the recent fight between Canelo Alvarez and Gennady Golovkin. He was then asked about Conor McGregor and if McGregor could be an effective boxer if he [Roach] were to train him. Roach contended that it's too late for McGregor to become a world-class boxer despite the popular sentiment following his loss to Floyd Mayweather where McGregor was at the very least competitive. But aside from time working against McGregor, Roach may have dropped a bombshell when he said he's actually training George St. Pierre for an eventual fight against McGregor. If what Roach is saying is true, then the UFC could see a huge payday from the MMA audience by delivering a fight between two of the sport's most popular figures. As of now a fight between the two is not confirmed and GSP is preparing to fight in the main event against Michael Bisping for "UFC 217."

Assuming GSP gets past Michael Bisping, would you want to see a McGregor v. St. Pierre clash?
