Latrell Sprewell might have been one of the more complex professional basketball players of all time. Not only did the guard/forward combo have a career average close to 20 points per game, he was also a 4x NBA All-Star and made the First All-NBA Team in '94. Sprewell might have come with buckets and positive contributions on the court, it was actions off the court that earned him headlines. For instance, we personally remember Sprewell's skill set on court, but many know him for his 60 Minutes interview where he explained he wasn't coaching then Golden State Warriors coach, P.J. Carlesimo, 'that hard'. Regardless, Latrell is back in the spotlight once again after visiting Kevin Garnett's Area 21, TV show and discussing the birth of his DADA spinning rim sneakers and how the brand should retro the sneaker.

'You gotta help me with Dada on this,' Latrell explained to Garnett as he began what might have been a preplanned pitch to a company that we personally didn't know was still around and in production. Garnett seemed enthused and eager by asking the camera for a size 15 and shouting out Anta, an overseas company that was producing kicks for the big man towards the end of his career. At one point in time, the company was thinking about re-releasing the DADA Supreme Spinners once again, but nothing came to fruition out of the announcement. Honestly, with Marbury's self-funded footwear line doing rather well these days, you never know, Sprewell could be on to something. With that being said, take a look at one of the original commercials starring Sprewell and the DADA Sprees above.
