Azealia Banks keeps getting into trouble on social media. This time it is because she tweeted that Cardi B. is a "poor man's Nicki." This shade comes the day after the "Bodak Yellow" rapper made history.

In a series of now-deleted tweets, Banks expresses her thoughts on Cardi being the one to achieve such a milestone. She began by saying, "I'm sorry. Black industry men are too hype for this Latina girl I've never seen them jump like this for Remy or Nicki. Spinning this 'for the culture' story when they are simply letting white men at Atlantic buy them into hating their own women."

Banks continued, also slamming The Breakfast Club's Charlamagne The God in the process. "Charlemagne and black men in hip-hop should have gotten me, Remy, AND Nicki a number one before they gave cardi or iggy one. But literally white guys buy black men away from black women and it's sooo cringe." Banks went on to imply that Cardi B does not fully claim her black heritage, and is only doing so now that she is successful. Cardi B has been vocal about being both Trinidadian and Dominican. "Because I thought she was going to be a Latina hottie and not a poor mans Nicki. It went the other way now I'm over it. I wanted spicy Latina and she gave me poor mans Nicki."

Naturally, once Cardi got wind of this, she responded. On Instagram, she posted a video of Banks going quite hard to "Bodak Yellow" with the caption, "One of the reasons Bodak Yellow went #1! Cuz even the HATERS love it!"

For the record, both Nicki Minaj and Remy Ma congratulated Cardi B. on her achievement.
