Logic has been new music and using his platform as a means to spread positivity and awareness to issues he feels are affecting the world. Recently, the rapper delivered a speech during the VMAs where he spoke on equal rights for everyone of any background. However, many are not buying the rapper’s image and vocalized their thoughts, including rapper Joyner Lucas.
Lucas took shots at Logic in the past on his “Mask Off Freestyle,” where he told listeners to stop comparing him to Logic. When Lucas spoke to Billboard, he went in-depth as to where his issues with Logic stem from, saying “Honestly, it stemmed from him [Logic] going on the 'Sriracha' record and it took a long time to get it back.”
He went on to say, “When Tech N9ne initially gave me the record, I was excited about Logic being on there, but after that much time went by and the verse he gave was so disrespectful, I felt like he gave Tech that verse on a count of me being on the record.” From there, Lucas went on to flat out say: “he’s a corny guy.”
