Fred Catchings is looking at 32 years behind bars for a shooting that left several people wounded. During sentencing, it was taken into account that the retaliation for Catchings' attack left local Baltimore rapper Lor Scoota dead.

25-year-old Catchings accepted a plea deal of two counts of murder and using a handgun in a violent crime. He also admitted to a shooting in the summer of 2016 which left three people wounded in the legs.

In June of 2016, Catchings jumped out of a vehicle and opened fire on Davonte Robinson, hitting him in the back, buttock, and thigh. While Robinson survived, the attack led to retaliation from friends.

Hours after the shooting, Scoota was leaving a charity basketball game when he was killed after someone shot up his vehicle.

22-year-old Cortez Mitchell was identified as a person of interest. He was killed in October of last year when a gunman approached his vehicle and opened fire.
