As many may not know, Tay-K's "The Race" was entered into the Billboard Hot 100 this week but unfortunately, he is not able to celebrate. The 17-year-old rapper is currently incarcerated on charges of several murders, assault and more. Though he is facing a lot, many are still supporting him and hoping for his release.

Lil Yachty is one of those people showing their support. Yachty released a freestyle over Tay-K's "The Race" and had these words to say:

“It’s Young Boat, put a n*gga in his place/Rich as fuck, out the window, Free Tay-K."

Yachty isn't the only one that laid down some lyrics over Tay-K's "The Race." Lud Foe dropped a freestyle of his own over the track earlier this month. And Lil Bibby and XXXtentacion also remixed the track. With so much support for the Long Beach, CA native and Texas transplant, many hope that it works in his favor. Including Shawn Cotton, who runs Say Cheese TV. Cotton sat down with Complex and along with telling them the story behind Tay-K's "The Race," he had this to say:

"If he somehow gets out of jail, I feel like he could be bigger than Chief Keef has ever been. He's young, I feel like he has the street background. I think he'll be a more successful Chief Keef. He'll be right there, because we've never seen this before. Tay-K's only 17, so if he gets out of jail somehow, I think he could be one of the biggest artists of this new rap era."

Let's see what is to come next for Tay-K. Check out the Yachty freestyle above.
