Def Jam announced that Paul Rosenberg, longtime manager of rap superstar Eminem, will take over as CEO. Rosenberg has a long track record in the music biz, c0-founding Shady Records and working with acts such as 50 Cent and Cypress Hill.
Rosenberg began his relationship during the Slim Shady LP, contributing largely to the massive success Eminem enjoyed throughout the 2000s. Rosenberg went on to executive produce 8 Mile, in addition to appearing on various skits through the years. According to Variety, Rosenberg will continue to manage Eminen despite taking over as CEO.
