Many people still believe the Earth to be flat including notable celebs like B.o.B and Kyrie Irving. B.o.B. first went on his rant trying to prove his point back in January of 2016. He took it as far as trading diss records with astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson about the validity of his Flat Earth theory over scientific fact.

At the top of this year, Kyrie appeared on a podcast where he presented his conspiracy theories from the existence to aliens, the moon landing never happening and of course the fact of a flat earth. Since that initial comment, the 24-year-old has doubled down on his belief.

Now it seems, outside of grabbing the attention of many with rumors spiraling about him wanting to be traded and LeBron wanting to beat his a**, the point guard has become a scientific role model to preteens. A middle school teacher by the name of Nick Gurol recently spoke to NPR and revealed that his students believe the world to be flat, thanks to Irving. Gurol is amongst a group of science teachers who say that no matter how hard they try their words hold no weight when it comes to those of Irving.

"And immediately I start to panic. How have I failed these kids so badly they think the Earth is flat just because a basketball player says it?" said Gurol.
