Meek Mill rolled through the streets of NY this past weekend causing some upset with his fire "Wins and Losses" freestyle on Dj Clue's show.
The Philly rapper would be alright if he stayed out of petty drama and Instagram gossip.
While he's making money and staying relevant, Meek's energy is particularly magnetic when it comes to freestyling.
He started off referencing himself as the man with the key to the streets while spitting over the throwback DG Yola "Ain't Gon Let Up" instrumental.
While on FaceTime with an anonymous source, the rapper embodied the entire 5 minutes using slick lines like "Lil shorty tried to play the kid, but I'm Jason", referencing his superstar ex-girlfriend Nicki Minaj.
He stayed away from taking any real shots but the kicker came when he spat
"At the VMA's with the 30 on me
In the front row and who with the shits
Cause these fuck niggas say they want smoke
When we run into 'em we gone kill the shit
Talking really quick"
Unsurprisingly, the rapper seems to get himself into plenty drama battles, so could something had went down at the VMA's that we are just now finding out about ?
Rap battles are by far the most vocal form of art used by artist these days, so the rapper obviously continues to use this platform to shine the publicity on the new album "Wins and Losses" released on July 21st.
