Yesterday, OJ Simpson was granted parole after his hearing was televised for the world to see. Previously, OJ was sentenced to 33 years in prison for his role in a 2007 kidnapping and armed robbery that took place in Las Vegas. Simpson ended up serving a minimum of nine years before he became eligible for parole.

Since then, many have voiced their opinion on the decision, including the lawyer who previously prosecuted Simpson. While on the street, Darden was asked about Simpson’s parole hearing. Darden said, “What can I say, it is what it is.” From there, he was asked should the acquittal of the 1994 murder of Nicole Simpson be factored into the hearing, to which Darden responded by saying it should have been factored in. When asked his last thoughts, Darden said, “The juice is loose. Hide the women and children.” Watch above.
