Vanilla Ice has seen his fair share of highs-and-lows throughout his career, but according to the rapper, his album sales still remain healthy. During an interview on The Dan Patrick Show, the rapper spoke about how his music was received by black artists, as well as the change in crowds he played for. While in the midst of speaking on that, Ice spoke on how big he got over the course of his career. The rapper said he sold 160 million records and went on to say, “They’re still selling. My records that were released 20-something years ago...To The Extreme every year has sold over 2-3 million copies. Just this year alone is probably 3-4 million. It’s crazy.” The rapper then went on to speak about how his appeal to the world actually helped continue his album sales, as well as kept him touring. Watch above.
