It looks like Pompano Beach rapper Kolyon (Koly P) will soon follow up his XXL 2017 Freshman Class diss record "Local Rapper" with a full mixtape. And he began promoting it over Instagram on Wednesday, July 5, with a little help from old footage he's got of him removing a bullet from his back.
"Mixtape dropping soon now. Remember that too," Kolyon turns to tell the camera while struggling to completely dislodge the bullet from his back in the video. The recording shows Kolyon wrestle to grip the piece of metal bulging from the area where his lower back meets his bullet designed belt. The squeamish voice of a child could be heard grunting in the back.
Kolyon was shot following his release from a four-year bid he did for robbing a McDonalds at the age of 16. The bullet pierced his torso and stopped by his spine, putting him in a coma. He would wake up able to feel all of his extremities, and today is able to walk, but at the time it was believed that he would be a paraplegic because of where the bullet ended up.
