Atlanta rapper Eldorado Red was released early from a 25-year prison sentence for conspiracy and gang activity charges. He began serving in 2014.
Red was indicited in 2013 for the murder of Baton Rouge rapper Lil Phat. Red was found not guilty of murder in trial, but was still sentenced for the other charges. The gunman who killed Lil Phat was convicted of murder and sentenced to life in prison.
