When fans think of Prodigy, the quiet and serious demeanor of the late rap legend comes to mind. Pair the intimidating facade he carried around with the vicious nature some of Mobb Deep's hardcore tracks and one couldn't imagine him being sensitive or vulnerable. Over the weekend, one of P's daughters felt moved to present the side of him that the world didn't get to know.
"You have such a beautiful soul & it saddens me that there is so many people who will never get the chance to meet, experience AND appreciate this side of you," the poster, believed to be one of his daughters wrote, in the caption of a video she posted to his IG page. The visual is a home recording taken back in May. When Prodigy notices that his little girl is filming he becomes a ham for the camera and begins dancing on his bike, as they peacefully ride along a boardwalk on a pleasant day. "I love you dad & you will forever be a blessing to this world and to my heart. Thank you...we miss you," she completes the caption by writing.
Prodigy and his wife Kiki Johnson had a son and a daughter together. He also raised a daughter Johnson already had when they got involved with each other, as his own.
